Take an overnight camping course with us to learn the basics from tent set up to
campfire cooking!  You also have the option to combine multiple guided days

Seasonal Trips:

Our seasonal camping programs are unique to any
other experience you may have had before.  Spring,
Summer, Fall, and Winter offer many exciting and
different challenges unique to Vermont.  Since each
group requires a slightly different experience, location,
and time line, we individually work with you and your
group to customize a trip to fit your needs and
expectations.  Boy scouts, Girl Scouts, church youth
groups, family, and friends are all groups that we
frequently guide winter camping trips for.  We guide
trips in two area, Central Vermont, and Smuggler's
Notch.  Please give us a call at (802) 773-3343, or
CONTACT US to set up a program that fits your group.
We'll teach you useful skills, like learning
how to build fires without matches, and
backcountry cooking over an open flame!
Overnight Destination Trips:

Central Vermont:
Only 10 minutes from Killington, just outside of Rutland we
have many areas that are ideal for camping trips.  The Long
Trail runs directly through our area; it provides us with
excellent hiking and camping opportunities.  Our local area
trips range from simple hikes to the "base camp", to long
multi-day destination trips.

Smuggler's Notch:
"The Notch" is a great place for more advanced winter/spring
camping and introduction to alpine mountaineering/camping.
Smuggler's Notch sits just below the famous "Adam's Apple"
of Mount Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak (4393').  It is a
remote alpine area with deep snow, frequent storms, and
cold temps.  For anyone looking for challenging terrain and
an alpine environment, this is the place for you!
Smugglers Notch is ideal for
winter camping trips!

"And there, at the camp we had around us the elemental world of water and light, and earth and air.  We felt the presences of the
wild creatures, the river, the trees, the stars.  Though we had our troubles, we had them in a true perspective.  The universe, as we
could see any night, is unimaginably large, and mostly dark.  We knew we needed to be together more than apart."
