Orienteering:
| Orienteering & Land Navigation Courses & Clinics |
| Orienteering involves using a compass and a set of directions to navigate a path through a specific course, usually through a wooded area. Generally team-orientated, this activity is great for groups and families looking for a unique challenge that is not too physically demanding. At Vermont Adventure Tours we have several personally designed orienteering courses ranging from beginner to advanced. |
Group Orienteering:
Orienteering is an awesome activity that instills
confidence, teamwork, and self-reliance in it's participants.
We run two orienteering courses. One here in Rutland at
our indoor climbing center, and the other is short drive
away at the beautiful Chittenden Reservoir. Orienteering
is a great activity for groups of 6-12 people.
Please ask about our special indoor rock
climbing/orienteering program for schools and groups. We
can also easily build a custom on-site course at your place,
upon request.
